What can I say? It has been a while since my wedding, but I would say that my catering experience was the saddest part of my wedding. I payed an exorbitant amount of money for very mediocre and cold food. Most frustrating was how boisterous and uncaring Karen the owner was. It didn't feel personal and at times she was downright rude. I had a large dessert bar and had asked if I could keep what was remaining of my desserts since we had a refrigerator on the premises and she seemed put out and got really nippy with me. As if I hadn't just payed her $11,000. On the up side, her service staff was great and extremely accomodating. If your goal is to get to the end of the experience intact and to have food for your guests to fill their bellies, then Thornagers is for you. A sandwich with a TINY little side was very expensive. Lunch was about $30 for 2 and I had water. Certainly expected more. The food was very average as well. Service was good, but food was very average. We went to lunch before going to what looked like would be a VERY expensive dinner. Would not return ...read more
