I was in this shop today.. When i walked in there was not a soul in sight. After about a minute an older man emerged who informed us that we must be on vacation and he works 7 days a week.. At first thought i was like hmm that an odd way to greet us but maybe he is just odd.. After that my mother took a photo of a ring to send to my sister to see what she thought and this man came flying out of his chair and asked what she was doing and she told him and he raised his voice telling her no.. These are custom works of art and if you take a picture and share them everyone will be making the same thing... And he said if i find that pic online i will be coming after you.. It's that time of year when we take time to remember what we are thankful for. It is a time for caring, for being with family here and abroad. Here in Bisbee, you can celebrate Thanksgiving at the Copper Queen Hotel, with a spread fit for a king. Then you can go to the annual BISBEE ART CHAIR AUCTION But we are not the only ones to celebrate this time of year, Our shop is stocked with beautiful wares and clothing from around the world. In Guatamala they celebrate St. Martin's Day. This is the time when autumn wheat seeding is completed, and the annual slaughter of fattened cattle to become "Martinmas beef" In India, The Festival of Baisakhi is celebrated as a Thanksgiving Day by the farmers. People wake up early on the day and take bath in rivers or pond water and pay a visit to the temple or gurdwara (Sikh worship place). Farmers thank god for the bountiful harvest and pray for prosperity in future also. Many people also perform charity on the day as a custom.Puerto Ricans celebrate Jayuya Indian Festival, Jayuya. This fiesta features the culture and tradition of the island's original inhabitants, the Taíno Indians, and their music, food, and games. More than 100 artisans exhibit and sell their works. In Indonesia, the country celebrates the annual Rice Harvest Festival at the end of the harvest season. This event is a joyous time and a great occasion to be in Bali Island. This event is contributed to the ‘Rice God’ Dewi Sri. The local farmers would offer their great gratitude and praise for their abundant harvest of the year.
