I special ordered some spark plug wires from the O Reilly's in Apache Junction on Saturday March 24th, they arrived on Sunday March 25th. I got a ride from my grandfather to make the 35 mile trek to pick them up, when I got to the store I walked to the counter and told the gentlemen I ordered some MSD parts and I was here to pick them up. He walked to the back and brought me the wrong part which I noticed the box and opened to see it was the wrong part. He then went to the back and brought out the right part, I noticed the box was right so I did not check inside and neither did he. I also bought spark plugs and left the store with my grandfather, as we neared his house I scanned my purchased with my phone to find out more information and opened them up to and immediately noticed the wires were used. I showed them to my grandfather and called O Reilly's back. I was told to take the wires back and when I did I was told that they were checked in the back and they were new when I left the store. So my grandfather and I called the police and was told to call the manager in the morning. I called the manager and was told that 2 employees checked the wires in front of me at the counter when I bought them so there was nothing I could do. So in short a 87 year old man and a former art teacher were accused of switching wires to get a whole 80 dollars back. I had high recommendations given for Jame's when I needed a transmission repaired. Although they are a tire shop, they also offer transmission work. On the phone, one price and warranty was quoted and in person that was denied. However, they still seemed to offer a good deal. The work was done timely, and the transmission has worked very well. BUT- peripheral items to the specific job were done very poorly. I did not receive satisfaction when I returned to complain of my exhaust not being re-assembled properly, nor the use of the same coolant that was in the vehicle. I also now have a 'check engine' issue that has not been resolved. The man behind the desk is not a friendly person, and the man in overseeing the work on t he transmission is much the same. Although the transmission works quite well after 5000 miles, I do not recommend this company for its overall job and customer satisfaction. ...read more
