When people visit day spas, they will encounter many different types of spa products.  Each of which will provide different benefits.  Knowing which spa product does what will allow spa patrons to decide whether or not they should purchase it for home use.

Spa Skin Care Products

Many people opt for a facial whenever they go to a day spa.  In the process, they will experience a couple of different skin care products.  To start, they will probably have their face washed with a facial cleanser.  The facial cleanser will rid their face of dirt and makeup.  Then they will have their face exfoliated, useful for removing dead cells from the skin.  Finally, they will be treated to a facial lotion that helps add moisture to their face.

Day spas tend to use a lot of essential oils.  The essential oils help to reduce stress, when used as form of aromatherapy.  At a day spa, essential oils can often be found in the massage oils, sometimes even facials.  Also, many day spas will diffuse the essential oils through the usage of candles or essential oil nebulizers. 

Hair Care Products

Many beauty day spas will provide the opportunity to use and purchase different types of hair care products.  The shampoos and conditioners will help to wash and condition the hair, just as done in the salon.  Then hair shine serum will add shine to dull hair. Meanwhile, gels and hairsprays will help keep different hairstyles in place.
