Skin Care for Women Over 60

It is imperative that women over 60 years of age properly take care of their skin because it is the best way to fight off the signs of aging. Some women in this age group look 20 years younger because they have a good skin care regimen.


  1. Use a mild cleanser to clean your skin in both the morning and evening. Make sure you use a cleanser that is formulated for your skin type. It is recommended that you use a cleanser that contains moisturizer if you have dry skin and an oil-free cleanser if you have oily skin.

  2. Use a cotton ball to apply a toner after cleaning.

  3. Apply an anti-aging serum on your face after the toner has been applied. Use a brightening serum if you have age spots or if you have deep wrinkles use a serum specifically formulated for wrinkles. If you will be applying the serum at night it is recommended that you choose one that is formulated for nighttime use because it contains a higher concentration of active ingredients. 

  4. Use a cotton ball to apply some anti-aging eye serum on your brows and under your eyes. Make sure the serum is specially formulated to correct bags and dark circles.

  5. Put some moisturizing lip balm on and around your lips. 

  6. Moisturize your skin on a daily basis by applying a heavy moisturizer at night before bed and a lighter moisturizer under your makeup during the day.

  7. Apply a glycolic skin peel on your skin approximately every six months. This will remove any dead skin cells you may have.
