How to Write a Proposal for an Apartment Cleaning Job
Offices and businesses are always in need of cleaning services, including apartment complexes and buildings. Writing out a proposal when applying for a cleaning job allows you to give more details to the potential employer, which in turn could be the information that lands you the specific apartment cleaning position.
- Create a list of policies your company withholds. This means to write out on paper what your expectations are for yourself and your potential client. Try to think of any details that could occur while you are working that could result in trouble or frustration at a later date. Discuss how you clean and train your employees.
- Assemble an outline for each project you are proposing. Every business has different cleaning expectations and that is listed in their help wanted ad. Especially for an apartment cleaning job you need to have a detail of what exactly you are going to be cleaning. A list of how many apartments you are responsible for cleaning and what your allotted time is for cleaning. Some of these details may need filled in after you are hired for the position. But give the potential client an idea of how much you can clean and at what rate.
- Address problems or issues. In a proposal for cleaning an apartment, all potential issues must be addressed. If a problem arises while you are cleaning, you need to know who to call. The client must also be able to contact you in case of an emergency. Include all contact information for both parties so that problems can be resolved quickly.
- Include payment information. To keep frustration at a minimum, make sure to write out your payment expectations. Decide on when, where and how you will receive compensation for the work completed for the apartment.
