How to Spot Fake Purses
There are many different types of purses, from designer to fake. Designer purses can cost thousands of dollars; so many people turn to fake purses instead. Some fake purses, however, are so fake that they are not even worth buying. There are ways you can tell a real designer handbag from a fake purse.
- Look at the stitching on the purse. If the stitching on the purse looks messy, it is definitely a fake purse. Designer handbag stitching will look very neat and strong. The stitching on a fake purse will not look very strong, which is why it will easily fall apart.
- Look at the material the purse is made out of. A designer purse will be made from leather or lambskin and feel very soft and pliable. Some fake purses may also be made out of the same material, but it will feel very stiff and may also be discolored.
- Check the label on the purse. The label on a fake purse may have many misspellings on it, or the actual label on the purse will be misspelled. Look at the designer handbags online and look at how they are labeled. Compare this to the fake purses that you find, and you will see there is a very big difference in them.
- Notice the packaging the purse comes in. If it is a designer handbag, for example, the packaging will also be labeled with the designer name. The package the purse is in will also not be much larger than the purse itself. The fake purse’s packaging will be a large box or bag.
