How to Pitch Workout Programs
There are a lot of workout programs out there. In order to pitch your workout program properly you’ll need to know what makes it special or better than the rest. You might need to do a lot of research to come up with the right pitch for your workout program.
- Pay attention to advertisements for workout programs in the area. Someone may offer a workout program that burns 500 calories in an hour, but your workout program burns 800 in an hour. This would be a great sales point to bring up when pitching your program to a potential client. By giving an example like this, you have successfully compared yourself to the competition and given a great reason why your program is more effective.
- Be enthusiastic when pitching your workout program and provide as many facts as possible. You will not only have to use the right words when describing your workout you’ll also have to have great non-verbal communication. You might try talking with your hands, eyes and smile. You will need to come across naturally while you do this though. You can practice your pitch in the mirror repeatedly until you have perfected it.
- Let people know that they will get the attention they need. Not every workout instructor is going to take the time to make sure that the individuals in their class are performing each workout effectively. Promise to go over movements several times with each client. Give them a more personal approach to fitness.
- Assume you have made the sale after pitching the workout. Ask the potential client when a good time to start would be in a nice tone.
