How to Make Honey Milk Bath Oil
A honey milk bath is a great way to cleanse and nourish the skin. Not only is it great for your skin, it can be relaxing after a stressful day. You can save money by making your own honey milk bath, rather than purchasing it from a beauty store.
Supplies needed:
- 1/2 cup of powdered milk
- 1/2 cup of raw honey
- 2 teaspoons of Jojoba Oil
- Bowl or jar
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl or jar with a lid. Using a jar allows you to make more honey milk bath and store for a later time.
2. Mix the ingredients well. If using a jar, shake the jar until the ingredients are blended well.
3. Add the mixture to your bath water.
4. Soak in the bath for a minimum of 20 minutes. This will allow your skin to absorb the nutrients of the bath.
This is another recipe for a honey milk bath, which requires a few more ingredients.
- 2 cups of powdered milk
- 1/2 of Bi-carbonate soda
- 1/2 of Epsom salt
- 1/2 cup of honey
- Essential oils
1. Combine the Epsom salt, bi-carbonate soda and powdered milk together. Afterward, add the essential oils. You can add different essential oils, such as rose or sandalwood. Then mix the ingredients well.
2. Warm the honey. The honey should not be hot; just warm. After you have warmed the honey, add it to the rest of the ingredients. Mix the ingredients thoroughly again.
3. Add the honey milk bath to your water.
4. Soak in the mixture for at least 20 minutes. You may need to rinse off after the bath, as the honey milk bath can leave you feeling sticky.
