How to Make A Candy Bar Cake

If you are not a great cook and looking for a dessert guaranteed to impress your guest you consider making a candy bar cake. Who would not love a cake made out of candy bars. It is perfect for giving as a gift to the chocolate lover in your life. Not only is it a tasty treat, but it is also fast and fairly simple to make.

Supplies Needed



  • Assortment of candy bars (large and small)

  • 1 large and 1 small tin containers without lids

  • Foil

  • Double-sided tape

  • Cardboard circle

  • Paper shreds


How to Make a Candy Bar Cake



  1. Cover the cardboard with foil.

  2. Place several strips of tape on the inside of the largest tin container. The tape should be place at the top so that it is overlapping at the edges of the container.

  3. Place the tin upside down on the center of the cardboard. The tape will adhere the container to the foil.

  4. Use the tape to attach the smaller tin on top of the larger one.

  5. Place some of the double-sided tape onto the back of the larger candy bars and attach them around the sides of the larger tin.

  6. Attach some smaller bars of candy with the double-sided tape to the smaller tin.

  7. Put some colorful paper shreds at the top of the tins where there is not candy. The shreds should cover all the areas where the tins are exposed.
