- Visit your local library and search for books on networking. You should find many helpful volumes. Check out several and have them handy as you try to connect your first network. Having the diagrams and pictures from the books nearby will be very helpful as you begin setup.
- The best way to learn about a network is to put one together yourself. Attempt to create a wireless network in your home. Connect a wireless router to your USB port. After installing the hardware and following the manufacturer's instructions, you should be able to connect other computers and devices to your new network.
