How to Create a Medical Office Flyer

A flyer is a handout used as an inexpensive and powerful way to advertise a business. Flyers can be quickly made on standard size thick and glossy paper. They can be passed out and placed on bulletin boards and car windshields. Flyers are also convent for mailing. A medical office flyer is convenient way to inform the public about excepting patients or a relocation.

  • Gather pertinent information about
the medical office by viewing files online or other printed
documents. Place the information in one place that you would like to
use in the flyer to organize. Locate the correct name, specialty,
address, telephone and fax number of the medical office.

  • Design the flyer with the name of
the facility at the top in bold. The bold writing will grab the
attention of others. Add the name of the doctors under the name of
the facility with the telephone, fax and email.

  • Include a map inside the flyer
with directions from different locations. Place a circle on the map
to help people locate where they are going and insert a picture of
    the location.

  • Add important information about
the facility such as insurance information, new patient information and
special procedures performed at the facility. Know the message you
want to get across and keep it simple and to the point. Avoid
writing too much information because it can cause readers to miss
important information due to loss of interest.

  • Ask yourself if the flyer makes an
impact with the content listed inside. Double check the color of the
flyer to make sure it's not too dull or bright.

  • Proofread all information on the
flyer after everything is in its place. Check for grammar and
spelling mistakes. Double check all the information and facts on the
flyer for accuracy before the next step of printing.
