IT'S HOT!!!!!!!!
Wow! Temperatures have remained in the high 90's for the past week and it's only June! August tends to be our hottest month here in the mid-south. With temperatures reaching "August-like" highs already, it makes us wonder what the weather will be like for the rest of our long summer. Air conditioning units having been running almost non-stop for a good while now and some have been struggling to keep up with the temperature demand from the thermostat. A few a/c units in each neighborhood can be heard whining, screeching, and even squealing. Several people this season have told us that though their a/c is working, their unit is over 30 years old!! Add those homeowners and their a/c units to your prayer list! If you haven't had your a/c unit serviced this season, consider calling a qualified HVAC company today and scheduling an appointment. Some a/c equipment malfunctions can be prevented with proper maintenance. A few dollars spent on a "check and service" now could save money and time (not to mention avoiding inside temps of 90 degrees or more in your office or home) by keeping your unit in top running condition. Long Mechanical is available to assist you with all of your air conditioning needs this summer. Call or email us today. (870) 394.4892 or mail@long-mechanical.com ...read more

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!
Spring officially arrived almost a month ago. Temperatures have changed drastically all over the Mid-South from day to day, and sometimes even in the same day. Heaters are still running. But, the a/c has been turned on in alot of homes and businesses. Some days have even had us using both the heat and the a/c. As the temperatures continue to steady and then rise, our need to use our a/c systems will increase. Now is the perfect time to schedule a check-up for your a/c system. Don't wait until our first 85 or 90 degree day to find out your system is not working properly. Maintenance is the key to keeping your system running at peak performance. Just like our cars and trucks, our heating and air systems need an occasional tune up, oil for the motor(s), and clean filters. We can tell when our car or truck is not running well. But, you may not discover a problem with your heating or a/c system until extreme temperatures cause your system to run more frequently, harder, and for longer periods of time. Call Long Mechanical (870.394.4892) today to schedule a maintenance check on your a/c system. Mention Merchant Circle and receive a priority appointment. ...read more
