Take 2 Video

5.0

By Mary Hurzig

I have been going to the take 2 video in Rogers for several years now, and can give nothing but praise to them. The employees are genuinely friendly and helpful. I have seen the company go through some changes lately and can not help but thank them for taken the consumers needs into consideration. $1.00 a day per movie is GREAT!!!!! I am in there at least 2 a week and thank them personally for knowing me by name and helping me each and everytime I am in there. The employees talk to my children and help them as if they are important too and that makes them feel special. Thank you Barry, Rodney, and Ty for making my experinces so great. ...read more

Lost Memories

In a box in the attic, basement, or closet live parts of our family history and memories. They are our hidden links to our past that we have no way to uncover. They are old 8mm, super8 and 16mm film that was shot during the 50's, 60's, and 70's to document our birthday's, anniversaries, vacations, happy and sad times. Most of us have no way of accessing this antiquated media format so all these glimpses to our past remain locked away. We may have some still pictures that have not yet deteriorated that we can look at and wonder, what if.Well now there is a way to retrieve and revive those old home videos that we thought were lost forever. Home Video Studio can transfer those film formats to a digital format and then place them on a DVD that will last up to 100 years. One of the problems you encounter with all film formats is deterioration and corrosion. The chemical properties of the film break down eventually and once that happens then they are lost forever. The first thing Home Video Studio does, is to use the same digital frame by frame capture that the Hollywood studios use to ensure the highest and most accurate quality of capture possible. They then save that to the same disc that the Library of Congress uses for archiving our National Treasures, a gold disc rated to last at least 100 years.  So if you are just curious, a history buff or just want to preserve your family's memories then you owe to yourself and your family to look into moving those films to DVD. Give us a call at 479-586-2212 or email us at dave.m@homevideostudio.com to see how we can help you find and recover those Lost Memories. ...read more
