Poplar Grove is an unincorporated community in Phillips County, Arkansas and is located in the Mississippi Delta region. Situated in the heart of the soil rich lands of eastern Arkansas, Poplar Grove is known best as an agricultural community. Poplar Grove is located near Crowley Ridge Parkway, a national scenic byway. Many parks and cultural attractions can be found along the byway including Crowley Ridge State Park, Parkin Archeological Park and the Delta Cultural Center. The region is also known for its rich musical tradition. Primarily rural, Poplar Grove lies between the larger cities of Marvell and West Helena where additional community services amenities and attractions can be found. Schools in the Poplar Grove area are administered by the West Helena-Helena school district. Businesses in Poplar Grove include Central Arkansas RCD and Phillips County Maintenance. One of the best attractions to visit when in the Poplar Grove area is the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival which is held every October in the neighboring community of West Helena.
