The ABSOLUTE WORST motel room I have ever stayed in! The rooms have not been updated since the 50's or 60's. It smelled like mold VERY badly. It was really hard to get to sleep because of the smell. The toilet was so close to the sink cabinet that you had to sit sideways to use it. The shower was extra creepy, basically a dark hole, with hardly any light penetrating it. I have stayed in some motels that were not recently updated before. I can understand the cost and expense involved in keeping units with the newest features, but this room was just neglected, abused and should have been condemned! If it wasn't for having no other options, because we were there for a funeral, it was late, and we had my mother with us, we would have traveled 30 miles in either direction and stayed somewhere else.
