I am writing this review as I want to help those parents who are skeptical about which day care is good for their baby. Its been almost six months since I have got Tatsat (my baby) enrolled in this day care. I was among those who was dubious about the day cares. I saw a lot of day cares but somehow was not comfortable anywhere. I paid registration fees for couple of them but still was uncertain. Then I visited Pulaski heights day care. I somehow liked it at the first instance with respect to cleanliness. They provide a variety of interactive toys for your babies. I felt that it will definitely help babies development (learning and motor development) as he can engage in different variety of things. The only thing holding me back was the fees, the waiting list and no online reviews of the day care. Somehow my turn came and I got tatsat enrolled in it, after which I realized that the best asset the day care had was its dedicated and interactive teachers. Though Tatsat had separation anxiety in the start but it didn't took him long to get adjusted there. Now when I leave him there, he gets so excited seeing his friends and teachers. The teachers take excellent care of the babies. They have schedules for every day. they have several activities which keep the babies engaged the whole day. I am sure they must be learning a lot. Above all the management and all staff is very friendly and honest. They will inform you of every thing including any fight your toddler got engaged into.Almost all teachers (including the ones who teach different classes) know Tatsat's name and will interact with him whenever they pass by. the teachers take Babies on rides to the play ground, perform several interactive activities and teach them colors, rhymes etc. I strongly recommend this day care. Darnall's loves my daughter without leaving me with the feeling of being "replaced" and feels more like an extension of our family. Daily she's learning new things and many times she is having so much fun that it's hard to get her to leave! I've always felt that she is provided with plenty of one-on-one attention and that any questions or concerns I have are immediately addressed. I really feel as if they are not only nurturing my child, but preparing her for school. I love the fact that they've been around so long, so I feel as if they really know what they are doing. Heck- they've been taking care of kids for a long time. It's really a great place and my daughter absolutely loves it. I have and will continue to recommend Darnall School. ...read more
