  1. Does Your Pest Control Company Do What They Are Paid to Do?
    7063

So many people seem to be unhappy with the exterminator they use for their pest control needs. There are many reasons why they may be unhappy. Maybe they don't show up on time or at all, they don't do a complete job, they are sloppy, etc.

If you are happy with the service you are getting. What makes the service you receive special? Tell us what you like about the service you receive. Maybe the technician is nice, maybe hes just really good at what he does.

Tell us what your thoughts are. People want to know!

    CONSUMERS BEWARE

STILL USING ANY TYPE OF PYRETHUM OR PERMETHRINS?

Are you being told their safe around your pets & children? According to an E.P.A. survey of poison control centers, they cause more insecticide poisoning incidents than any other insectides except for the organophosphates. The people who sell these products would have you believe your spaying an all natural daisy flower:

Chrysanthemum The fact that they are derived from plants causes some people to think - a point played up by companies using this toxin in their products - that they are safe. Lots of plants are toxic, some in small quantities, others in large. Just because it comes from something lush and ornamental does not mean it can't be lethal. Oleander, azalea, mistletoe, and foxglove are just a few of the pretty - and highly toxic - plants with which we live.

Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethrin (C21H20Cl2O3). In other words, it is a man-made poison that is a copy of two poisons found in plants.

Weather your trying to get rid of mosquitoe's, citrus rust mites, nemotoades, fleas, bed bugs, ticks, snakes, darkling beetles, fowl lice, northern white lice, white flies, grasshoppers, these insects and heat seeking venomous snakes are all pheremone driven and can not tolerate the aroma of our Cedar Oil Formulation.

WE WOULD BE GLAD TO DISCUSS ANY ISSUES USING OUR REVOLUTIONARY BREAK-THROUGH IN CEDAR OIL TECHNOLOGY YOU MAY HAVE.

EPA warns of health effects of bedbug treatments
By Mike Lillis - 08/10/10 01:24 PM ET

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Tuesday is warning consumers that bedbug-battling pesticides, applied improperly, could make consumers' homes unlivable.
"Using the wrong pesticide or using it incorrectly to treat for bedbugs can make you, your family, and your pets sick," the EPA said in a consumer alert. "It can also make your home unsafe to live in — and may not solve the bedbug problem."
With bedbug infestations on the rise in urban centers around the country, more and more consumers are reaching out to extermination companies for relief. That's led to a subsequent rise in the number of those companies, which don't always apply their chemicals correctly, EPA warns.
In fact, the agency suggests consumers should avoid chemical solutions altogether.
"Prevention and non-chemical treatment of infestations is the best way to avoid or eliminate a bedbug problem," EPA suggests.

I know it does because I have complete quality control over the services. How? I am the owner/operator and I do all the work from contact to sale to service. When something goes wrong I can quickly respond and am familiar with the situation because I was there. You can't GET any better than that.

  5. Prostar Pest Control
All licensed pest control companies should do what they are paid and trained to do. The problem arises when pest companies fail to do two of the most important things; EDUCATE & COMMUNICATE their customers. Customers need to know what to expect from your services. Most customers simply think "spraying" solves everything. And that is definitely not true. Take German Roaches for instance, yes I said German Roaches, which have to be treated completely different than an American Roach. GR's can become immune to certain chemicals, they hide 90% of the time in and around mostly kitchens. They can be in your stove, microwave, coffee maker and other appliances. They can be in, under, behind and between your kitchen cabinets. Therefore if a technician fails to identify what species of roach is at your home to treat, then their treatment can fail. A great technician is educated in treatment and product knowledge when it comes to controlling pests, they should think like a pest. They should know that all pests and homes are not the same. The problem of customers becoming unhappy usually always comes down to communicating with the customer about their issues and educating them on how its going to be resolved. I have gone in to some homes where the customer wants you to solve their pest issues but if that involves a change in lifestyle (i.e. keeping their kitchen clean and sanitary) they do not wish to do it. If this is the case, be honest with them and tell them you won't do the job.

Bottom line is if your company holds true to high values, being educated, using only the best products, and communicating with your customers, than the chances are the majority of your clients will be happy ones. Sure you can't always please everyone but if you have done everything possible, from communication, education, and treatments then odds are you will have been successful and have gained another happy satisfied customer.

That's just the way I see it....and DO it.

Kudos for reaching out to the community.

Ultimately folks want results, what good is a guarantee if they have to use it on a weekly basis. We approach things from "The best guarantee is the guarantee you never have to use" stance.

The biggest divide between good companies and bad companies come down to one thing: Time

Do they value their own time? Do they value their customers time? And are they willing to invest the amount of time that needs to be to provide a good service and exceptional control.
