   I would try looking for a local small to medium size appliance repair company that has a good reputation and has bin around for a while. If your looking for some one well knowledgeable and that their prices are reasonable.

   It is true that appliances do not last as long as they use to.Average life is about 8-12 Yrs.If the dishwasher falls in this category you might want to consider replacement rather than repair.However there are many different problems that can occur some can be repaired for a reasonable price.If you do not already have someone you feel you can trust check with your local Better Business Bureau.When your ready to call someone for service be sure to ask about their rates & charges.

   Depends on what the problem is but I first look at the age of an appliance. If it is near 10 years of age I would recommend replace it. Appliances manufactured today do not last much more than that. If it is out of warrantee and not old enough to be 'put down' then call your local area Chamber of Commerce and get a recommendation from them. Or maybe ask a friend or neightbor who they might recommend. At the very least email me and I will help you decide! abappliance@knology.net

   A. The Best Service Company to Repair Your Dishwasher is any service company with at least 5 years experience, licensed and insured. I.e. Sears, GE, Mr. Appliance here in the New York City Region ApplianceAide.
