1. Whats the best way to make people aware of a move to a new location? Direct mail, newspaper, ???
   

   After over twenty years in the same location we are moving a half mile north to a less conspicuous location. We truly value our long term customer base and want to encourage them to come to our new and upgraded facility. Just as important is making potentially new customers aware of our location and capabilities.

   Great advice by dynamicuno! Your existing customers are your #1 most valuable resource, be sure to collect all their contact info if you aren't already. Direct mail is an excellent method for notifying them, expect to spend around a dollar per letter, maybe more depending on printing costs. Email would be virtually free but most businesses don't collect email still.
   
   Also, you might consider having a customer appreciation day or a grand re-opening party.
