Americas Best Value Inn - Kinder

My daughter and I stayed two nights this past week. The hotel is under new ownership and management. The lobby is really nice and clean. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had choice of hot breakfast foods or cereal and rolls. That was a pleasant surprise and the coffee was fresh and just right!! We shared a room. The bathroom was clean with plenty of linens, shampoo, bath soap, Our beds were fresh and the entire place looked like it has had a make over. We will certainly be happy to stay there again.

Will not stay here again!: This was the second time my wife and I stayed at the hotel. Last summer the staff was friendly, but the room left something to be desired. The bathroom had a hole a little larger than my fist in the wall. We were not in the room much, so it wasn't a big deal. We came back this summer, and got a great rate, but the room was horrible. The room looked as though it was being remodeled. All the base boards had been removed, and the towel rack in the bathroom was broken, and missing the shelves all together. The shower needed to be cleaned as well. There was mold and mildew all over the shower curtain. It wasn't until the second day of our stay, that they cleaned the shower. We booked our rooms a month in advance, and specifically asked for downstairs rooms. When we arrived to check in however the staff stated that we could only get one room down stairs (we had a total of 3 rooms with the rest of our group). Had we been traveling alone, I would have left for a different hotel. I'll never stay here again. The price was great, but I'd rather spend a few extra bucks for a nicer place to stay.

awful. I wanted to stay close to the casino. All of the major hotels were booked. I called Kristyle Inn. They told me the place was 7 years old and in good shape. It looks more like it is 27 years old. I don't think the sheets were even changed from the pervious guest.
