This place is awful. The day we went here, They were out of iced tea AND chicken! We had to have pulled pork BBQ b/c it was all they had. We waited over 20 minutes while locals came, got their food, and left. When our food finally came, it was terrible. The potato salad was tasteless and soupy. The pulled pork was not bad except for the myriad of hard white pieces mixed in it which I guess were bone pieces. I'm hoping they weren't hooves etc. The cole slaw was OK. As my wife and I drove to the AU-WV football game early Saturday morning, the Check Engine light of my Grand Cherokee came on. Best Tire & Auto on College Street in Auburn diagnosed a transmission problem, and then referred me to Tyson Transmission. Since Mr. Tyson is normally closed on Saturday, they contacted him at his home. Mr. Tyson immediately sent his son and Mrs. Tyson with the tow truck. Best Tire & Auto gave me a ride back to my tailgating activities. Mr. Tyson called back shortly stating the problem was not as serious as thought and that my repair would be about one-third of the cost I was expecting! Mr. Tyson and son completed the transmission repair and returned my car to the AU campus before 2 pm! Mr. Tyson called me the next day to make sure we arrived home safely. I cannot express my thanks and deep appreciation for how the Tyson family rescued us. In the future, all transmission work on my vehicles will be done by Tyson Transmission even if they are 110 miles away! ...read more
