City Buffet

This used to operate as the Peking which was an outstanding Chinese Restaurant! Today known as City Buffet, they have ruined my eating experience because they serve food that is many hours old, dried out, hard and stale!!!! They do not change the food in the bins frequently ; they just let it sit there under the lamps for hours on end until it becomes completely stiff (bone dry) and they still try to make you eat it! I recognized one of the waiters who used to work there from the Peking days and he seemed a little "embarrassed" when I told him my opinion. Most likely he knew I was right but wasn't allowed to agree with me! I will NOT be going back!!! The manager on the floor really needs a crash course in ServSafe!!! ...read more

Just a note to all customers. In some cases, bad reviews are submitted by rival restaurants to bring the rating of a good restaurant down. The Globe Restaurant is a DiRONa restaurant and that means if you do not like any part of your meal, service, drinks, etc. the owner will comp your food. All you must do is ask to speak to a manager and tell them the problem you are having. If you do not like your food please ask to speak to a manager. Don't go home and write a bad review about a bad dinning experence that you could have changed. Each person has different taste, what you hate someone else loves. Please rember that. ...read more
