I am truly impressed with this company. I had an issue with our company's network and called them for a quote. They provided a quick quote and were able to give me some suggestions for free over the phone. I tried what they said, and after no avail, they sent a technician out within an hour. The tech was excellent and easily fixed our networking issue, and also fully optimized our computers. If you value your laptop/PC, don't bring it here. Had a cracked touchscreen that was working. Jim kept my 8-month old laptop for a week and didn't tell me he couldn't order the part. He cracked the screen even more, snapped the in-built camera wire, broke the top cover so it would not snap back into place, and disappeared with all original screws. When I complained, he said there were signs posted claiming the shop was not responsible for any damage - he could break everyone's computer and there was absolutely nothing anyone could do about it. When I brought my $800 laptop to the shop, all it needed was a new $250 touchscreen. By the time he gave it back, HP and Best Buy told me to throw it in the garbage and buy a new one. ...read more

When the power browned out and the computer didn't come back on I thought I lost everything. I called Danny the Computer Guy and brought it to him later that day. He took the hard drive out and confirmed my photos were still there. Turned out it was a bad motherboard and Danny explained (as I had an older Dell) it would be more economical for me to get a newer model than to fix the old one. Its not often you see a business turn down the chance to make more money on a deal, but he did. He even transferred my files to my new desktop for me at no additional charge. I brought Danny my computer. It was 4 years old and very very SLOW. He told me it would be ready the next day. I thought "sure, yeah right" as Geek Squad had my new laptop for 2 weeks and it was newer and faster. I went and picked it up the next day like he said. Wow! As he was showing it to me I said "Is that my computer opening web pages that quick? How about my photos are they still there?" They were there just as I left them. I didn't lose a single photo or note of music - for no extra charge either. Web pages opened faster than on my new laptop. I didn't know my old computer would perform so well. I am very very happy with the work Danny did for me. His price was HALF of the other guys and he even gave me a sheet explaining how to keep my computer running fast. I took my Dell Laptop to Danny AFTER visiting another computer shop. Something didn't sound right and I wanted a second opinion. Danny found the other guys had misdiagnosed my laptop as having a 'dead hard drive' and a virus. According to Danny it just had a nasty virus, which he removed and had it back to me the next morning for LESS than HALF of what the other shop wanted to charge me. Sure, he's down the "Parkway" and a bit out of the way, but its worth it. He saved me over $100 and had it back to me the NEXT day. These people seem to know what they are doing. They aren't "scammers." I went in to get my apple laptop fixed and they gave me a great price throwing in an airport and a new wireless router for my house! They are very nice and reasonable people. I could understand how one could criticize their communication skills though because most who are computer geniuses either are foreign, or nerds who lack too-great communication skills. These are just the people you want fixing your computer though! So, yes, I do recommend taking your apple here rather than driving to New Orleans so you can double what you're spending. ...read more

Do not bring your computer to this store. They will over charge you & once you say they are to high they will start to bring down their price in which is still hill. They fix my computer without my authorization & threatened they would give it back until I pay them. I told them I was just getting a diagnosis & and their prices were way to high to replace my LCD screen that takes maybe 30 minutes to fix. I had to call the police in which they me at the store. I explained I did not authorized this & the manager lied and said I did. I explained to the officer the employee that called me after they diagnose my computer said they could began work until I paid them the full amount. I never paid them a cent. So that shows they were liars. The officer suggested I take them to small claims court. I told him I just need to get my computer out of their poccesion ASAP. After being told that my Mac needed a new power supply and that it would be ready the following day, I called to check on it. The employee who took my call abruptly stated that my computer wasn't ready and they found another issue. When I asked what the problem was, I was told, "It isn't working." I then only received "yes" or "no" answers to my questions and was told that he didn't care if I needed my equipment back for business use. I told him that I couldn't tell if he was trying to be funny or was just being a jerk. He hung up the phone. I feel as though I have left my computer in the hands of a company/emplyees with the emotional capacity of an 8 year old. Everytime we have ever used this repair shop (only cert. Mac repair shop in Mobile) we have had issues. Regardless of what the problem has been, their solution has ALWAYS been to replace the logic board.
