I adopted a 2 month old putty from a shelter in West Mobile. After having her only 3 days I had to take her to the vet on Springhill Ave. She tested Bailey had said she had parvo. The Vet then call Theodore Vet and they quoted a price of 5 to 7 hundred dollars. We took Bailey to the Theodore Vet on August 31st and paid them $500. After being at the vet for a week the Vet called us and said Bailey was ready. My wife went up there to pick her up and told us we owe another $535.. After telling them they didnt quote us that much and couldn't afford another $535 they told her she could not have the dog back unless we paid them.. And then told her that if we didnt pay the them, they would take Bailey to the pound and hope some one would give her a good home..We got Bailey back after she was there 16 days and you can count her ribs and her back bone, she is so skinny. And she is also having trouble walking.. I know for now on if I am quoted a price I will get it in writing . ...read more
