Happy New Year

It's 2011 and we will start E-filing returns this Friday, January 14th. Mike and I are still here in the little white house and looking forward to seeing all of our customers and friends soon. It has been a busy year with all of the legislation (delayed until December!) and the new rules for paid tax preparers. We have always been registered with IRS and are diligent about getting continuing education credits by attending educational conferences and webinars. We are available year round if questions arise about the returns we prepare.Have you called IRS lately? It is a time consuming process that we handle for our customers.Property tax exemptions? We have helped sort out what figures to put where on those forms too.Having problems managing money on a day to day basis due to health, scheduling, or other issues? That too.We are a locally owned business. Mike and I are longtime Leeds residents and live a short distance from the office. Come in today for some straight talk about what we will charge to prepare your return.Mike is a CPA and a retired IRS agent specializing in small business taxes. If you or someone you know is having issues with the IRS or Alabama Dept of Revenue, this is the place to call.As always, we are happy to provide an estimate of what our services will cost up front. Happy Holidays!

I can't believe it is almost 2010. Mike and I are busy getting ready for 2009 Tax returns. At this time last year, we were opening our doors and hoping for a good year. We did have a great year and have enjoyed meeting new people as well as helping neighbors and friends we have known for years. We have learned a lot about running your own business; the rewards as well as all the work that goes on behind scenes. And we have had the generous help of family, friends, and community to make our venture successful. Washington has been busy changing the tax laws again this year so we have been working hard to stay current with all the new tax code. There has also been talk of regulating tax preparers at the state and federal level again. Use someone reputable that you can find if problems arise. Use someone who has extensive experience with IRS and knows what to do and who to contact if problems arise. Contact M&M; Tax and Accounting Inc to prepare your 2009 Tax Return! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! ...read more
