I cant thank you enough for the hard work you did for me and for winning my SSDI disability case for me. It is so discouraging to be denied and told you are not supposed to get any Social Security. The Forsythe Firm was a constant source of encouragment for me and they kept my case going. I didn't have to spend any money because they paid all of the expense until case was approved. Thank you again for all you did. (William). ...read more

I made a mistake in hiring this attorney, do not hire this guy. He has admitted to being ineffective counsel, google Brett Naff's attorney: "I was constitutionally ineffective" I hired an Appellate Attorney who was successful, because Bruce A. Gardner was not! save yourself from a major headache, seek legal counsel elsewhere. ...read more

Sara Doty Attorney at Law, LLC

By RobinIvey

Ms Doty handled custody of my grandchild. I was told the retainer fee was so high because we would probably have to go to court and if not I would be reimbursed, We didn't have to go to court, all that had to done was papers completed and filed, After questioning my refund, I was told I owe 560 more dollars. Definitely would not recommend. ...read more

The Army discharged me on medical grounds in April 2014. Getting my VA disability was going to take months. I went to the Forsythe Firm for help with Social Security disability benefits. I'm glad I did. Mr. Forsythe helped me complete an online application. Then he set to work to get my claim approved. He was able to get my claim approved faster (in fact, in just over a month). I am so pleased with his service that I now hand out his business cards to other veterans who need disability benefits. ...read more

Norman Bradley Attorney At Law

Norman Bradley, Jr represented me in a case that went to trial. He was thorough, and showed a genuine interest in helping me and listening to all the details. In court, he was attentive, professional and ultimately, won the case due to his willingness to go above and beyond in making sure he was prepared. I felt like he worked overtime to ensure that my interests were represented. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Bradley to anyone who wants their needs paid attention to. ...read more

He charged me $250 for a one hour meeting conference in which nothing at all was solved or even discussed. I went ahead and paid that thinking he would help with my divorce case. Its been 6 years and more than $6500 dollars and NOTHING has been done. In my personal opinion he is doing nothing more than stretching this out to get as much money as possible with no results on the case. Needless to say, I will NEVER use his services again. I would recommend no one else does either. ...read more

Norman Bradley Attorney At Law

By GHP

Mr. Bradley has handled our family law issues since 1995. I have nothing but respect for him. He will tell it like it is, which is sometimes different from what I want to hear, but he knows the law and will do what he promises. His charges are in line with what other attorneys charge in this city. In my experience family law is pretty complex and people don't always get what they want. Maybe that's the case with the people who wrote the bad reviews on this site. It's a good place for an angry person to lash out without any accountability. Mr. Bradley is an excellent attorney. ...read more

I have NEVER used Ms. Doty, however, I do know that it is almost impossible for this woman to call back a client. In my opinion she let's the other lawyer call most of the shots and so far I haven't seen her really fight in the Court Room I WOULD NOT recommend her. ...read more

HOW DISABILITY ADVOCATES HELP YOU GET PAID - SOCIAL SECURITY

Disability advocates, also called "representatives" are professionals who work to help disabled persons get approved for Social Security disability benefits.  An advocate may help with such things as: evaluating your disability to see if you may qualify for benefits, filing a new application for benefits, gathering medical records or evidence, preparing a winning theory of your case, making sure you meet all of the procedural requirements, preparing documents, attending hearings, mediation with the Government to protect your interests....  The list goes on and on.  Basically, a disability advocate or representative is trained to know how to file and present your disability claim so that you have the best chance of getting approved.  Most experts agree that the Social Security disability process is too complicated to handle by yourself.  Your odds of getting benefits greatly improve with the help of a professional advocate.  For a free disability consultation, to get answers to questions, or file a new Social Security disability claim, contact us at THE FORSYTHE FIRM Huntsville, AL (256) 799-0297 Free consultations. Never a fee unless you are approved.  When you are approved, our fee will be withheld from your past due settlement and paid directly to us by Social Security.  Call the Forsythe Firm at (256) 799-0297 for a free consultation.  (256) 799-0297  (256) 799-0297   ...read more

GETTING DISABILITY BENEFITS WITH OPINION EVIDENCE

Your doctor's opinion may help you win Social Security disability benefits. There are 2 kinds of medical evidence: objective medical evidence and opinion medical evidence. Objective medical evidence includes things like X-rays, MRIs, laboratory tests and examinations. Opinion evidence is the doctor's stated opinion about how your medical condition impacts your ability to perform such activities as standing, walking, lifting, bending, concentration, memory, etc. It is NOT helpful to have your doctor write a letter that simply says, "In my opinion Jane Doe is disabled and cannot hold a job." This will be ignored. Opinion evidence must be specific and must address functions (walking, standing, lifting, etc.). There are forms that can be used for this purpose, but Social Security will NOT obtain these for you. You must do it yourself or have your attorney or representative obtain this evidence for you. Also, opinion evidence will NOT be included in your doctor's medical records. For a free disability consult, and never a fee unless you win, contact the Forsythe Firm in Huntsville (across from Bridge Street) at (256) 799-0297. ...read more
