People are being taught works salvation in most all the Prodestant churches around the world.A good bible study would help people to understand that salvation is of the Lord. It is by grace that we are saved not by works of rightousness. DOCTRINE OF SALVATION ROMANS 1;16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto SALVATION to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. INTRODUCTION: 1. WHO NEEDS SALVATION... The Jew, the Greek. Rom 1,2,3 THE WHOLE WORLD IS GUILTY BEFORE GOD. He that believeth not is condemned already John 3;18 2. WHO PROVIDED SALVATION.. The gospel of Christ, & John 3;16;17 Rom. 5;8 But God commended..... 3. HOW LONG DOES SALVATION LAST.. And being made perfect, he became the author of ETERNAL SALAVTION.. Heb. 5;9 I heard Lester Rollof say one time that ETERNAL SALVATION was the only kind of salvation God knew anything about. I want to say Amen to that. Now let us look at the word SALVATION. Sanctification 8. Glorification Now let us look at the word ETERNAL. What does it Imply? Webster says: 1. That is properlyETERNALwhich has neither beginning nor end. John 3;15 says we have Eternal life; 1 John 1,2 says Jesus is Eternal life; 1 John 5 11-13 if we have HIM we have Eternal life. 2. That isENDLESSwhich has a beginning, but no end.Faith has a beginning but no end. 3. That which isEVERLASTINGhas neither interruption nor cessation. John 3;16,36: 4;14 no interruption nor cessation What does it Include? 1. Timelessness 2. Unchangeable 3. Endless 4. Without Intermission 5. Everlasting Many Evangelist today are out to win your Church Members to the LORD, (and some of them needs saved) but many can be shook up because we have not grounded them in the Word of God. Remember God gave us to the Churches for the work of the ministry, the edifying of the Church. I believe if you get what the Lord has for us today it will help us to Ground some of our Church members where they can help others instead of asking for help. NOW LET US LOOK AT ETERNAL SALVATION Salvation is in three (3) tenses: 2 Cor. 1;10 1. Past 2. Present 3.
