Last night, after 1/2 a beer, I noticed that there was a party of about 15 women sitting bored on the side of this dead bar. My favorite thing to do it to buy everyone I see drinks and make a party wherever I go. There was a drunken manager, (a short, small asian boy), standing next to me, so I leaned over and asked, "you got any specials if I buy you, me, my friend, and that whole table of 15 people a round of shots?". In his drunken stupidity, he immediately began attempting to insult me from 10 feet away in front of his friends. He said I was broke, he called me cheap. Mind you, I make 6 figures and I was trying to buy shots for 20 people, so his drunken, childish comments didn't make sense. I walked back over to the girl I was with, and she asked if he was going to do a deal on the shots and I told her no. Then out of nowhere, he starts insulting me and telling me that I'm talking about him. (which I wasn't). Then he literally tried to act like he was going to fight me. Since I am an adult, and since I was sober, I know better than to argue with a drunken child. So, instead of running a 300 dollar tab like the last 2 times I went in, I just paid for my beer and left his half-empty bar to go someplace else. This kid has no business in a management position. He seems to be too sensitive, too immature, and too lacking in experience to perform at a manager position. I have been bar hopping and creating parties for over 15 years and I have never had any such altercation in my life. My suggestion for anyone considering this bar is that they should try greybar, or back 9, or anyplace where the employees aren't wannabe thugs attempting to satiate their insecurities by acting like idiots toward customers. I intend to spread my story as far as possible, and I can say with certainty that neither myself, or my friends will be returning to this dive. For the love of god, to the owner, if you're reading this....please think hard before you staff your bar with people who have no business experience and who have no people skills. It's costing you money simple and plain. You're lucky that your manager didn't get beaten up last night in your bar. ...read more

I was with friends at the 3000 bar the other evening and the owner went off on a lady that had asked for her receipt. The owner was so out of control that the police had to come just to get a receipt for the poor lady. Strange why a business owner would not want to provide a receipt. I paid with cash. Too afraid to give that business my credit card. I would not suggest anyone go to that place. ...read more
