I was hooked instantly with their burgers. Lots of locals can't get through a day without one, the freshest, best tasting burgers are award winners. Their slaw is unexcelled. People buy it by the gallon for their functions. A local tradition for 45 years since Mr. Buck started it in the 60's. Freshly breaded chicken fingers, fried chicken, catfish to die for, hamburger steaks. Footlong hotdogs, french fries, and milkshakes take you back to when the juke box sat in the corner and the kids sat on the revolving stools happily spinning and enjoying a burger. This is the poorest resturant in the alexander city area! Food is cold, nasty and do not ever ask them to cook your order without onions! I ordered this once and when I looked in the bag, I could see onions on the burgers, so I called the girl back over to the drive thru window and she took the bag back and went to talk to another staff member. When she came back to me she stated, "HE SAID THE ALREADY SCRAPED THEM ALL OFF" what?!??! Then I was told they could not make any burgers without onions--they just scrape them off before giving it to you---what kind of eating place is this?! Too funny! ...read more
