Night Moods
By Delilah January 25, 2011
I was totaly suprised when I thought about just how long the balloons I bought from Night Moods lasted for my little boy, I kid you not, they lasted over 6 weeks. Now I can only buy his balloons from Night Moods because no one elses last as long and he gets really upset when they die only after a few hours. Last week I sent my husband one of their "Happy Jacks" and everyone at the office just loved it. You really should give them a try, you will never buy balloons from anyone else again. ...read more
Willie's Marine Inc
By Anonymous January 21, 2011
Our heater recently went out - in the middle of winter. After two weeks of fighting with another company to get them to come replace it (our home was only 35 degrees, and we have a baby), we decided to call Willie's instead. Without hesitation they immediately placed a rush order for a new heater and installed it the next day. ...read more
AmeriGas Propane
By Donald Ruf December 22, 2010
I was in Juneau with a large motor home and had a problem with our propane system after getting off of the ferry and John (the manager) really helped us out. He went way beyond the call of duty to get our propane system working again so we were able to have heat , hot water, and the ability to use the stove. We got to enjoy another three weeks in Alaska and we got back to Florida without any problems with the propane. We can't thank John enough. Don and Linda ...read more

Arrowhead LP Gas
By Marla Lumbab December 01, 2010
I love Arrowhead LP Gas because I don't feel being discrimanated on the phone, on my bill, and in person. Its employees understand me and my situation, that even I'm already a little bit behind with my bills, they don't intimidate or harass me. Gas Rate is reasonable, and finance charge on my overdue payment are not that high also. Any Service the company provides is always excellent. Overall, I rate them the highest, but I would like to request that soonest, I prefer to pay my Account online from this same website. And more customers will love you with that option. I appreciate for everything you do. I thank you so much! Happy Holidays! ...read more

Venetian Jewelers
By Vicki Pitts October 31, 2010
I have to say I did not purchase my merchandice. My husband WON a pair of blue diamond earrings from here while on our cruise. When I opened the package on ship I found that one of the post was a good 1/4 inch longer than the other post. We returned them via a VIP card from the ship at the next stop. They replaced them. They tried to give us $250 credit to buy something else first though. They also said that they were worth $400 retail. I wore them the rest of the cruise and for about one month after we got home. When I cleaned the earrings they turned completely black and have absolutely no gold finish left on them.I can no longer wear them. I wouldn't give $5 for another set, let alone $400! I will definally suggest no one purchase from the Cruise ships suggested stores! It is definally a gimmic to get you into the poor quality stores!!!!!! ...read more

How To Visit Alaska on A Budget
Alaska is brimmed with compelling sights situated on an extensive area of untamed wilderness. Due to its remote location though, experiencing quintessential activities in the state like river rafting and dog sledding can come at a hefty price. It's a great thing that you can experience the most stunningadventures in Alaskawithout breaking the bank. With the right planning, a trip to the "Last Frontier" can virtually suit any budget. Weigh All Mean of Travels If you are short of time, flying may be your only choice. If you can spare some time, however, reaching Alaska by land or sea can help you get considerable saving. You can check the Alaska Marine Highway System that links to Bellingham, Washington, just a few miles away from Seattle. You may also consider the Alaska Highway, often called Al-Can, which bridges Seattle to the City of Fairbanks in Alaska. Watch What You Eat If possible, shop and dine as if you are local. Instead of forking lots of money on casual restaurants, choose from lots of microbreweries and pubs in the area. If you have travelling by car, you can purchase groceries and gas farther into the towns compared to spending premium on establishments near your hotel. Stay In A Hostel Hotels are undoubtedly expensive — an excellent way to save on costs is staying in hostels instead. You can choose a private room or a dorm bed at a fraction of a hotel expense. Plus, you have the perk to prepare your own meals at their kitchen. Moreover, you get to socialize with other travelers across the globe. If you are worried about safety and comfort, you can always check the Alaska Hostel Association's list of accredited properties. Travel In the Shoulder Season Winters in Alaska are ruthlessly cold, and a winter trip is only suitable for those who have experience with that much snow and ice. The tourist season happens from June until August, which brings massive crowds and causes prices to skyrocket. Shoulder season in May and September provides both fair weather and rational pricing. Pick A Tour Package There are lots of tours that are available at a reasonable price while not compromising quality. Your whole trip is planned based on your interests and needs, get to stay in heated cabins comfortably, and enjoy delicious food and drinks. No money will be wasted on unnecessary trips as they surely know where to take you to experience enthrallingadventures in Alaska. A trip to Alaska can be both wonderful and affordable.
