Fish Masters Inn

1.0

By junky

Broken down boats, food quality ok at best, my 12 year old cooks better with only mom as a teacher. Over priced for what is advertised. Clean facilities, guides put us on fish. If you are fishing at Fish Masters Inn do not pay more than $1000 for the week. $1000 would be an alright deal, any more then that is a waste of your money. The owner Jerry said one evening that he is losing the lodge to his ex wife through a divorce. He went on to say that is why the over all quality has gone down hill, he can't afford to stay in business. If you are fishing Alaska this year, make lasting memories, find another lodge. If you still want to fish in Elfin Cove try one of the other 6 or 7 lodges. You can't go wrong. Sincerely, Junky, Beware of Fish Masters Inn ...read more

I have known Joann since we were both kids in Pelican. I was/am a bit older than Joann and I had spend most of the time down below. She was on the job and what a delight it was to see her. Aside from the fact that she was very friendly in her interactions with everyone who was there. We talked a bit about life since Pelican, stepped aside while others were served, bought some supplies and made a date for later. That night, Joann was among the folks who joined us at the museum to swap stories about life back then (45 years ago). We returned to the store the next morning just to say good bye to Joann. Keep smiling -- you are doing a great job! ...read more
