If you love to spend your time watching the same 5 infomercials and the same Anchorage Baptist Temple(ABT) service for an entire week then this is the station for you. the ABT services would be tolerable IF they wouldn't toot their own horn so much. It gets nauseating VERY quickly! We have managed to catch a couple other churches in the past few weeks that were pretty good. I checked the schedule for Family Net TV and this affiliate fallows almost none of it. Wretched is OK but again the same episodes are repeated too often and Little House on the Prairie was replace by a radio talk show host that really doesn't have anything to say. It is the only station we are able to receive and we will be getting a VCR/DVD player or just give the TV away. The only saving grace is late at night a few nights per week you can catch University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) Athletics. ...read more

While the station carries many good programs, it doubles up on advertising on "Little House". The program mentioned seems to carry "built in" advertising, most likely provided by the program provider. This station doubles up on the advertising by cutting in at any time with 'extra' commercials of a local nature. I don't know if this is even legal, however the practice is in very bad taste. The station needs to be manned by a real person to either cut over the existing commercials of just leave it alone. Personally, we've quit watching.
