I arrived without an appointment for a 3,000 mile servicing and to have the summer tires & wheels swapped-out for the winter set. The Service-writer, Phil, greeted me by name, took down the servicing information, and got me a shuttle-ride back to work. By the way, the shuttle driver, Kathy, was pleasure to talk with. Not only did I receive excellent service - they also washed my car! service department personnel has been one of ""under promising and over delivering. From servicing, to tire pressure sensor re-sets, to the courtesy shuttle service - these folks put the satisfaction in customer satisfaction. ...read more

How Simpatico is dealing with the Economic downturn.

Hello my Alaskan Friends Sales have been slow recently due to the economic downturn, so we have decided to close our retail store, but will continue operating out of a home office on a mobile basis. Ultimately we believe this will allow us to offer better service for our customers as we will be free from the ties and overhead of a storefront, and will be available to help you at any hour of the day.   2009 has started out on a rocky road for our country, and we are counting on our leaders to get us back on track. I wish for them the wisdom that comes by reflection. Reflection of the events of the past, most especially those leaders who took drastic, compromising measures that compounded the effects of the situation.   It concerns me that our leaders are passing hastily arranged legislation created under the cover of darkness without having read the measures or thought out the ramifications involved.   It concerns me that we have been promised transparency yet receive 1100 pages of confusing text.   And yes, as an entrepreneur,  I expect that I could possibly reap some windfall from their measure which will help me in the short term, but at what cost to future generations.  I just hope the endangered salt marsh harvest mice enjoy all the money they will be receiving. I have never heard of an endangered mouse. This is idiocy.   It concerns me that if we become indebted to our government, will we still be watchful of our personal liberties? I cite HR-45. If you care about your rights under the 2nd amendment, please research HR-45. It is designed to make us all criminals. If our government becomes overly indebted to another countries banking system, what form of payment will be offered when the debt becomes delinquent? And what if we simply cannot pay it? I shudder to think of the actions another countries government would take if they blamed ours for their financial collapse. Especially if effective weapons useful in the defense of your home and property, and country, have been taken away. I cite New Orleans after Katrina. Homeowners were made powerless by the ones "protecting" them.  You can not stop a bad man by breaking the knees of a good man. The cynical people writing this legislation need to remember, there are a'lot of us out here who are good men and women whom no one should fear. They should not treat us as if we are criminals.     ...read more

Spring in Alaska

Spring has finally come to Alaska, and has exposed all of the dirt. It's time to get that HydroTek Steamcleaner to take care of those tough cleaning tasks.  Simpatico is running some great sales on our portable HydroTek Pressurewasher and Steamcleaner packages. Did you know you can get a HydroTek for about the same money as a Hotsy? Why drive a chevy when you can have a Cadillac for the same price. Some folks prefer the HydroTek just on the basis of its good looking stainless steel construction, but reliability is the real selling point of this great equipment.  Did you know that HydroTek is a leader in the Washwater recovery business? Their washwater recovery and recycling systems allow the user to capture their washwater and reuse it over and over when doing flatwork.  This is really important in California where they are based due to stringent rules by the EPA that washwater cannot be allowed to enter the natural watershed. These rules will be coming to a neighborhood near you soon.  Show your customers that you are a professional and care about the environment by incorporating one of these systems. HydroTeks portable and stationary process filtration systems filter the water to 5micron and are very affordable. With a HydroTek SCmodel hot pressurewasher, your washpackage can be totally self contained and powered by your pressure washer. No fooling with electrical cords or plugins. No trips back and forth for water, and no wasted time! Simpatico can provide it all! Trailer packages, recovery systems, portable wheeled units, skids, just let us know what you need. And we stand by our products. Talk with us about a maintenance agreement. Looking forward to hearing from you. Jon ...read more
