Turning Point is Horrible

My experience was awful and very sad, and dangerous!!!\t\nMy problems were ignored, I had crippling anxiety and was told by everyone --therapists, psychiatrists that I was drug seeking and lying!!!\t\nI hate that place, group therapy was no help to me. I saw a one on one therapist once a week and for 15 minutes, she also was no help. I am looking into what I can do legally to fault them for theirtreatment.\t\nAvoid this rehab please!!!

Yes, Horrible; I hope they go out of business

I can't address the racism claimed in a prior review; but from what I saw when I was there, AVOID THIS PLACE, no matter what your race (I happen to be white). There's not even enough space here to mention everything they did wrong. I have a regular therapist, and the therapist was appalled and spent hours on the phone with them (with them trying to get back into the therapist's good graces because of all Turning Point's screw-ups; I don't believe she is going to use them again).\t\n\t\nAlso be aware that non-medical staff will deny you medications that are prescribed. I was admitted late on a Friday afternoon, have more than one serious medical condition, and was told (after the office and medical staff had left) that they (non-medical staff) were taking away two of my medications (one from my cardiologist, another from my pulmonologist) and I was going to have to deal with it until medical staff came in on Monday to address the situation. I checked myself out the next morning.\t\n\t\nIn addition, I was lied to by the business office and had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get back money they had no business taking in the first place. (I did eventually get most of the money back.) They're placing themselves in great risk of tremendous liability; it is inevitable. It's nothing they don't have coming to them, at least from this person's perspective.
