Tails of The City

WARNING! IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR DOG'S SAFETY, DON'T TAKE IT HERE!! I entrusted my 5 lb Maltese in the hands of Tina Marie, who ended up gouging my dog's eye with some sort of instrument very badly, causing damage covering her entire pupil. We spent the entire evening at the Emergency Care vet clinic, paying double the cost of a normal visit (since it was after hrs and on the weekend, no less.) It is three days later and after applying two different topical antibiotics to her eye every few hrs (including all through the night when we have to get up for work the next day) and having her suffer with a cone around her neck, her eye is still almost swollen completely shut. We've left multiple messages asking for reimbursement for the vet services, only to get one call back telling us the owner would be in touch, which still hasn't happened (3 days later.) I should have seen the warning signs that Tina Marie doesn't care about the quality of her work or any attention to detail when the cut we originally asked for on her ears and tail didn't happen, and after working on my female dog for three hours, she calls to tell me that "he" is ready and I can come pick "him" up. I know that doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's indicative of the lack of attention she gives her clients, which ultimately lead to a serious eye injury. Bottom line: these people are UNPROFESSIONAL and they DO NOT CARE about their canine clients or their human owners, so much so that they can't even reach out and try to mitigate their error. If I could have this place shut down to prevent someone else's inevitable future tragedy, I would. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! STAY AWAY!

I called, last minujte to get my Cocker Spaniel in for a complete grooming, and they accomodated me right away, and even stayed late to get him done, when I got there they were very friendly, talked over with me how I wanted him cut and then told me it would be two and a half to three hours.
Sure enough two hours forty five minutes later, they call to let me know my little "Buddy" was all done and ready for me to come get him. When I got there, the owner was just finishing the last touch of his adorable St. Patty's day bandana, Buddy was so calm, and relaxed, of course until he saw me then, he was so excited. When I looked him over, I was SO IMPRESSED AND HAPPY!!!!!! They did such a good job on him, he was so perfectly groomed and cut, I was so glad I took him there. Not to mention that he was very calm, he didn't seem to be too stressed out, which he normally is after being groomed.
I know I have now found my ALL TIME grooming place!! I will go back there time and time again.

I took my GSD in for grooming on a Saturday. The facility was easy to get to and was clean and inviting inside. Someone welcomed me into the shop and had me fill out a customer card since it was my first time in. I liked the way they kept track of each customer and it made me feel valued. When I picked my dog up he looked great! His nails were trimmed nice and short and his coat was fluffy and thoroughly brushed. He even had a cute bandana on as a finishing touch. Their prices were very reasonable, it only cost me $40 for a large dog, and they stayed a little late until I could come to pick him up. I have been to many dog grooming salons in the area and this by far has been a great overall experience. I highly recommend anyone who wants their dog properly groomed to go here.
