Siesta 4 Rent

Rented property from Siesta 4 rent for 3 weeks in Sarasota Florida. Had a wonderful trip, however, the day after we returned home they called us and accused us of taking, breaking or losing a 2 by 4 foot piece of glass covering a dresser in the bedroom and of damaging both (yes both) bathtubs. They said it looked like someone put a surf board in the tub and gouged it. We are all in our mid fifties and never surfed in our life so I think they can eliminate a surf board. They kept our damage deposit although we assured them that we did not cause the alleged damage. These accustaions caused both my wife and I a very restless few nights as we knew we did nothing wrong. The manager e-mailed us a few days later (never even had the courtesy to phone) and the little man said that upon closer inspection, it was deemed that the damage to the tubs appeared to have been done some time ago and he gave us the benefit of the doubt regarding the glass. What a wonderful person he is. Bless him.
