A gem and a jewel
Samarkand is what you would expect to find in Santa Fe, but without Santa Fe prices. Alexandria, the owner, hand picks all the beautiful and cherished items. It's worth just stopping by for the stories! But, really, if you are an appreciator of Asian art, tea, and rugs (and most particuarly, mermaids) and are in Homer, if you don't stop by you'll miss an excellent opportunity.
