Failure to honor service estimate or agreement

Complaint: Work isnt bad IF YOU CAN GET THEM TO FINISH! This job started last week of March after much prodding to get here and get it started. Initial payment was given early March. Sod was already taken up so it should have been a two-day job a week tops. Sand filler yet to be completed, half a drain, pavers left unglued, and more pavers for additional areas (for which an extra payment was made) still to be delivered. We receive one excuse after another. After getting ugly, base for additional areas was delivered and dumped in our front yard on a tarp. I warned that the base and tarp better not be there long enough to kill the sod adding replacement sod to what is due us. I was assured it would not be. I asked for the invoice number of the additional pavers so I could check with the supplier to ensure that they had indeed been ordered, I was told that the pavers are at supplier ready to be picked up but wouldn't give me the invoice number. I was also told that TWO OTHER UNHAPPY customers were to be visited after me. That was Tuesday, May 6. Once again, we were given a day that everything would be taken care of Thursday, May 8. Today is Monday, May 12 NO WORD, NO PAVERS, AND MY HUSBAND MOVED THE BASE AND TARP because the sod was dying under it.
