He asked for the owner or manager and after being given the runaround for a minute or two, o...ne of the ladies at the desk said she was a manager. He politely explained that he had purchased his wife a gift certificate for a spa service but that she could not use it because she was diagnosed with skin cancer earlier in the week. He explained that she could not have any thing on her skin and was simply asking for a refund on his gift card because there was no way it could be used. The manager was extremely rude, accusing him of lying, telling him that he could not speak to the owner, not telling him when he might hear back from the owner about a possible refund and telling him that they require a doctors note stating that his young wife had cancer. Ivy nails has a $20 mani/pedi special on Monday - Wednesdays. On these days (and others) they have rushed the job doing an awful one. They are Extremely rude, they do not understand 1 single word of english. And on top of that, THEY MAKE FUN OF YOU, the person whos PAYING for their services. I am talking about "Gina" thats what her name tag says.
