What Makes Us Better

Experience:
Each and every designer that will work on your project has a minimum of 20 years of professional design experience. We are one of a few design firms out there that actually has experience selling face-to-face. We use this experience when creating designs to effectively motivate the reader into action.

Effectiveness:
We've learned over the years that design and decoration are not the same. Effective design occurs when form and function work synergistically to get the intended results. Therefore, we begin each project with a brief interview to learn the purpose of the piece.

Responsiveness:
We don't have separate day jobs and we operate out of the MST time zone, so communication is prompt. We are free to work on your project throughout the day and send PDF proofs as often as needed.

Internet Meetings:
We even have a service that allows you to watch us work while making revisions. This service significantly cuts down on the time taken sending PDF proofs back and forth. (The lag time of the screen updates may vary pending internet router relay traffic. Please contact us for a free demo).

Positive Attitude:
Working with other creative professionals has taught us the power of a positive attitude. We may offer our advice, but we won't be offended if you don't take it. We may have created the design, but once it is paid for it belongs to you. We strive provide you with creative design—not creative attitude.

File Submission:
When the time comes to submit your files we won't abandon you. We can work with your printer and even submit the files for you. If the printer has any technical questions we can answer them quickly.

Who are those Guys?
Mark, went to college in anticipation of running the business side of the firm when he graduated. A few years later, Mark was brought into the firm to learn how to use what was at the time the first and only color Macintosh computer--the Mac II. Many late nights of reading manuals have paid off in allowing Mark to master the computer as a tool for design. It didn't take long for Mark to begin focusing on the intricacies of design. Mark strives to make the outcome effective and the process an enjoyable one.

Carl took advantage of his time in the family business to study the finest details of design. At the young age of 17 he won his first award for a logo. The award was Neenah Paper's Western Regional Second Place. Carl's talents are well known amongst his peers and his drive for perfection is unsurpassed.

Graphics
We began our design back in the days of paste-up, so our primary focus has been print advertising. However, at the request of our clients, we have been doing more and more print internet design. Some of the marketing pieces we frequently work on are:

Photoshop
We also do a lot of Photoshop work. We started using Photoshop 2.0 many years ago and have learned a lot along the way. One of our favorite techniques is to remove the background from items while preserving the original shadows. Some of our most common Photoshop services are:

- Adding Artwork to an Existing Photo
- Removing the Background Behind Hair
- Creating Mockups of boxes and kits
- Color Correction (exposure adjusting, color cast removal, etc.)
- Image Cleanup

Printing
