Stay away from them ! They put more damage to your item than repair

Stay away from this shop at 3rd floor , Westside mall, CA ! I went to the shop hoping that they can help fix my spectacles that had a frameless lens dropped off due to a loose screw. In the end, they said they have to charge me USD $65 , i told them just to help press the round silver holder back in shape so that the tiny screw can catch the screw thread. After asking me to wait for one day, my lens had a big and deep scratch (even though it's made of special harden plastic lens) and cut an ugly big hole and slot the frame handle into the big hole and burnt my frame , my silver frame is now discolored with burnt mark and cannot be re-use anymore ! The glass has an ugly like a melted thick coat of plastic around the thin silver frame ! Extremely ugly and un-usable. The counter gal insist that the repair man did not tell her what he's going to do to it before he did it. They didn't call us to check with us even though they have my phone number.I wasted USD 65

TERRIBLE SERVICE

I went in to get a battery replaced on my watch and had no idea what I would end up being in store for...it took 30 minutes for them to replace the battery and I was told it would cost $20. This seemed pretty steep to me so I inquired as to why it was so expensive. They told me it included a 5-year warranty which I didn't want. When I asked for the basic service fee, they had to remove some permanent marker they had written on the back of the battery using an alcohol pad. I left the store paying $15 instead but 20 minutes later I looked at my watch and the inside was full of steam!!!! I had to go BACK to the store and they told me it was because of the alcohol pad. It took ANOTHER 30 minutes to fix the problem and I was refused a discount and told it was my fault for changing from a warranty to the non-warranty service. I asked how much the battery cost and was told $7. So the extra $9 went to their "expert" watch repairer. UNBELIEVABLE!

rip off - dont trust them!

they refused to honor a lifetime guarantee on a watch battery( they went on & on about it when i bought it actually) \t\nthey acknowledged that it was their battery and i was promised the lifetime guarantee but simply refused because they changed their policy. what?? to make it even more shady, they did not tell me they wouldn't honor it until after they did the replacement work. and charged me $42 to get my watch back. i feel like i got hustled- they are so dirty. go to jc penney or a reputable place don't get scammed!!!
