Best children's store in Maryland!!!!!!

I love this store so much! I am mom with baby number 1 an went to Enkore on a recommendation while I was still pregnant. After stumbling through trying to learn baby wearing and cloth diapering through online video and friends on Facebook I needed some help, more than I realized. Susan could see that I needed help an jump right in and taught me more in 10 minutes than I had learned in 8 months. I went back with my newborn, husband, Ergo and caraway later trying to get some advice on wearing baby. We left with a great knowledge of prefolds, understanding my Moby AND Ergo, my car seat installation checked and a happy happy husband who felt less overwhelmed! I will be back over and over!

A gem

We've been delighted to find Enkore Kids. It's so much better than most kids resale stores. It's open, well lighted, and has lots of merchandise. We've found clothes for our kids, neat toys at great prices, and some tempting new items from their stock. The people there are easy to talk to and well informed about everything for kids.

Im so glad I found this place

Wow! I found this store the other day just driving by and I am so glad I went in. The women that work there took the time to show me around the store asking questions about my child and my life so they could help me find products I would like. I was very pleased with the personal service I received and am currently trying some of the diapers they sell and really am liking them. I plan to make this a regular stop and am watching there website for things so I can shop from the comfort of my home. These ladies made me and my child feel important and cared for not like any other store I have been too.

Educational Toy Ideas for the Holidays

As the Holidays approach, the most often asked question we get is: what toy is best to get for mychild, grandchild, etc. We all want what's best for our children and what's better than providing them with toys that not only entertain, but teach as well? And that's what makes the Classic Toys, “classic” - they are time tested and outlast all the fad electronic “learning” toys for kids that often end up at the bottom of the toybox or the back of the closet soon after the Holidays. So what makes... READ MORE Posted November 07, 2011 at 07:22 PM

How to Shop Resale & Save Big!

Raising kids is expensive. The Consumer Expenditure Survey by the U.S. Department of Labor figures that households with incomes above $39k/year will spend between $170k and $250k to raise a child from birth to age 18. Of that, $1320-$1720 is for clothing in the first 8 years. Another $3000-$5000 will be spent in those same years for "miscellaneous" expenses that includes toys, equipment, etc. Housing, food, health, daycare,&education; are not in that category. This article is meant to help yo... READ MORE Posted September 30, 2011 at 10:38 AM

Shopping Second-Hand for the Holidays

Benefits of Buying Second-Hand: 1. Economic – Generally at least a 50% savings over new for you and 100% of your purchase price stays to support the local economy and not sent to China or a corporate out-of-state headquarters. 2. Environmental – No packing material to add to the landfill and continued demand for re-used items means they don't end up in the landfill either. 3. Charity – Even if you can afford to buy everything new, what's left over in the budget for supporting your local churc... READ MORE Posted November 05, 2010 at 04:18 AM
