About Embellishments Design Studio

Embellishments Design Studio has been serving the design needs of the Twin Cities metro for almost nine years. We are a full-service studio, specializing in custom furniture and window treatment design, but we’ve been known to offer everything from one-color paint consultations to throw-the-baby-out-with-the-bath-water room redos (no people were harmed in the making of these designs, however!). Built on a strong belief that good design is achieved through effective project management, Embellishments Design Studio works with you, the client, to listen to your needs, respect your budget and educate you on your options.

The owner, Jane-Marie Bloomberg, has a passion for achieving well-appointed interiors by focusing on what you already have (that collection of unknown objects from grandma), what you really need (a sofa that doesn’t have the evidence of 10 years with children embedded into the fabric) and what you truly and passionately want (a killer design that makes you say “ahhh” when you walk into your home). By allowing her clients to play an integral part in the experience, her interiors speak to the importance of functionality and livability as well as to the value of beauty and a touch of the unexpected.
