Contours & Colors

Cindy Caughrun has been my hairdresser for year. She is terrific and a fine Christian lady. However, the shop as a whole is not children friendly. I was sitting with my 3 grandchilren while their mother (my daughter) had her hair colored and cut. One of the granddaughters was also having her hair trimmed. During our 1 1/2 hours there, one child did several pages of math homework, the 2 year boy along with his other sister ate cookies that I brought. Tamara ( last name unknown) was doing nails in the corner . She speaks very loudly "It is so loud in here, I can't hear myself think." I called her the following day and she said we had been disrespectful of the shop. That the kids and been loud and she and her customer couldn't carry on a conversation. Having taught high school students for 32 years I am very aware of loud inside vs/ outside noise. My grandchildren never spoke above an inside voice. I can't enjoy a place where my children and grandchildren are treated so rudely.

The stylists were very unprofessional and gossiped about one another and other clients to different clients. Appointments were booked too closely together and stylists were answering phone while doing hair, causing appointments to run longer. In the long run, if you don't want your business out there sit quitely or it will be discussed with the next client in the chair
