Champion Safety

I am retracting previous post - We reached an agreement with Darin Kendrick, owner of Champion Safety. We are pleased with the agreement and recommend Champion Safety.. If someone has a problem, Mr Kendrick will work with yoiu.

We had a kitchen fire, our cheap alarm sounded, but the new expensive alarm never did. We called Champion Safety. The sales woman came to house, she said we did not have the right kind of fire for this alarm. So, if a skillet burns on the range, the cabinets must burn to have the right kind of fire. This sales woman sold us part of their system, leaving two bedrooms without an alarm, the two bedrooms our toddler grandchildren sleep in. She also told us that steel wool will burn. We called Champion Safety, their installation man called, he had no rights to do anything. Darin Kendrick is listed as owner, but, is he a real human? Does he have the ability to use the telephone, or just will not take care of business. We want this system removed from our home and all money refunded.

Champion Safety is a good company and they provide beneficial/quality alarms. Shortly after I posted my March 2011 review, I was able to contact the company agent, that sold me my alarms, and get the information I needed for my insurance company. Initially I did have difficulties with the customer service, however, they apologized and did follow through with sending me the information I needed. We still have the alarms and they are in great shape. Recently an agent came to review the newest systems and reminded us that the alarms are guaranteed for 25 years.
