Callie’s Kookies are made with your special pet in mind, with LOVE and tender loving care. All treats are vacuum sealed for freshness (some breakage may occur during this process). Refrigeration is highly recommended after opening. Callie’s Kookies do not contain any preservatives or fillers. They can be frozen and taken out a few at a time. Remember not to “over treat” your furry children as this will cause weight gain and may put them in the mindset to only want treats and not their regular food. They can be given as a reward for doing their tricks or for being doggone good or just because you love the little critters!
I never could understand why all the commercial treats contained so many additives, most of which I couldn’t even pronounce! My mission is very simple: To bake fresh, great tasting and nutritional treats and make them available to my friends! Our ingredients could be found right in your own panty. They even smell wonderful! The Cooper Clan is presently “taste” testing new recipes for all of their friends to try! Look for them in the very near future and get ready for your pets to devour them. We will continue using all premium ingredients, of course.

We all know that feeding our furry children table scraps is not very good for them. It could cause them to gain weight, and certain foods can be toxic. Raisin and grapes, for example, could cause kidney failure. Onions are known to be toxic as well and could cause fatal anemia. Look for treats with whole grains, oats, peanut butter, tomatoes, carob, carrots, garlic, parsley, sweet potatoes, spinach, honey and wheat germ. These are healthy ingredients, and foods you might enjoy eating yourself! Well maybe not spinach or carrots!
