Willow Tree Dance Academy

We have been a part of WTDA for 3 years now and this is definitely our dance home. Miss Melissa is so organized and she is wonderful with all of the children. I know that when my children are dropped off at dance they are safe, happy, and having a great time. The classes are great and her recital is very professional and just a joy to watch. 5 Stars!

My daughter and I have been involved with this studio for nine years, but we've really appreciated it's latest incarnation as the Willow Tree Dance Academy. Under the direction of Melissa Van der Groef, it has blossomed into a serious dance studio that still allows these growing young people to focus on school and other activities like sports, school clubs, etc. The atmosphere has grown into feeling like we are all part of a cohesive family. The students get along, the teachers get along, and the parents get along. There is no tolerance for divas. I really like that. If you are looking for a good balance of commitment while still allowing your kid to be a kid, this is a great studio!

This past school year was our first year with WTDA. Both my children had a great experience and they are looking forward to what this new year will bring! The atmosphere of the studio is very open and friendly. The children in the various classes are very encouraging of each other. The teachers are top notch and treat the children with respect. Miss Melissa is very on top of her game with information given well in advance of deadlines and there are no surprises. Thanks again for a great year, looking forward to the next one to start!
