Philip Kwon painted our patio cover. After he finished he casually mentioned that he painted over rotten wood. I would have rather had the wood replaced if I had been told. So a couple years later, we had to repaint it. Our new painter said that painters are not supposed to paint over rotten wood, that Kwon used poor quality paint, and that he did not prime the wood before painting.
