We just love this place!
We found the Odeum about 2 years ago, when we moved to the area. We were so excited that there was still a "REAL" theater to go to and enjoy the old style atmosphere. In looking for their web page today (to see what is showing), I found this review page and thought I had to leave the good word about one of our favorite places!
And, as one of the other reviews said, go next door for dinner... what a great evening!
Great small town Theatre!
Want to avoid lines and inflated prices of tickets and treats? Then take a seat at the Odeum-They show first-run movies and solid independent films every now and again all with Dolby THX sound.
They show only one movie each week and you can get a great Mexican dinner next door before the 7 o’clock showing. The staff is always friendly and the Egyptian atmosphere is Grand! It is on Grand Street in downtown Whitewright-Look for the red awning
